Born and raised in El Salvador, Suri Barrera brings over 12 years of guiding experience and a deep, lifelong connection to El Salvador’s ocean and coastline.

• Pioneer in Women’s Surfing: Suri stands proudly as the only Salvadoran woman leading surf trips specifically designed for women, creating safe, empowering, and transformative environments in the water.

• Founder of Hijas del Mar: Suri is the founder of Hijas del Mar, a social initiative that empowers local young girls through surfing, skate, and sisterhood. Joining this retreat directly supports community initiatives empowering young women in coastal communities.

• Coaching Approach: Whether you are stepping onto a board for the first time or refining your wave selection and technique, Suri offers warm, highly personalized coaching tailored to your individual goals.

Founder of Odisea Latina & Host

Born and raised in El Salvador, Natalia brings over a decade of international experience in high-end event management and travel logistics. As the founder of Odisea Latina, she handles 100% of the retreat logistics behind the scenes: from private transportation and luxury villa bookings to curated volcano excursions and private chef menus.

Her mission is simple: to create a seamless, stress-free escape where every detail is taken care of before you even land. Need an extra coconut by the pool, have a specific dietary request, missing a personal item, or just want insider tips on local spots? Natalia will be on site throughout the retreat to ensure your experience flows effortlessly, allowing you to completely relax, recharge, and immerse yourself in the beauty of home.

Better together: Grab your surf buddy and lock in our Friend Discount for $1,650 per person (normally $1,850). Twin Queen beds, private bathroom, double the fun.

Intimate group setting capped at 6 guests to ensure privacy, comfort, and personalized 1:1 attention in and out of the water.

Sample Day at the Villa

• 06:30 AM – Pre-surf local coffee and 5-min walk to the secret spot.

• 07:00 AM – Morning surf session guided by Suri.

• 09:30 AM – Fresh breakfast prepared by your private chef poolside.

• 11:00 AM – Surfskate technique clinic or downtime at the villa pool.

• 01:30 PM – Private excursion (Volcano hike, Lake, or Village tour).

• 06:30 PM – In-house chef dinner & relaxed evening under the stars.

Booking Policy

• Reservation Deposit: $500 USD non-refundable deposit to secure your spot.
• Flexible Payments: Flexible installment plans available upon request to help you spread out the cost before the trip.
• Final Balance: Remaining balance due 30 days prior to the retreat start date.
