Will there be a written agreement?
Yes. We use a clear written agreement (MoU) outlining Odisea Latina’s responsibilities and yours.
Who handles participant registration and payments?
Odisea Latina manages both registration and payments.
Who takes care of logistics?
Our team covers all logistics: transport, accommodation, meals, activities. You bring your community and focus on the teaching.
How is teacher compensation/profit structured?
We start with a call to define the retreat (size, activities, budget). From there, we set a package price for participants + a compensation for you. Compensation scales depending on the number of participants (e.g. minimum 4, then different rates for 5, 10, etc.).
When are flights and teaching fees paid?
Flights: covered once the minimum number of participants is confirmed.
Teaching compensation: paid at the end of the retreat (cash or PayPal).
Who pays for marketing/promotion?
It’s a shared effort. We work with teachers who already have an engaged community, and Odisea Latina provides extra promotion (since we manage multiple retreats at once).
Who decides the retreat format?
We co-create everything together—duration, location(s), activities—so it reflects your style and your community. What’s the minimum and maximum group size?
The minimum is usually 4 participants. Maximum depends on the venue and retreat style. Are retreat packages fixed?
No, they’re customizable to your community’s needs.
Can I bring my own teaching content and schedule?
Absolutely. You’re free to design your sessions. We’ll add local and leadership activities that make sense for your group.
Who owns retreat photos/videos?
Both parties can use them for promotion. Ideally, we share as partners to boost visibility on both sides.
Is insurance provided?
We recommend every participant and facilitator have their own travel insurance.
What about permits and local requirements?
Odisea Latina, as a Salvadoran structure, handles all necessary permits and requirements.
